The courses of the Master's in Biology include one or more compulsory internships that are integrated into the training. These internships can be carried out in university laboratories or in companies. Their goal is to complete academic training through integration into a professional environment.

Each year, internships are offered by the laboratories of the Grenoble area. It is also possible to do an internship in another structure, in France or abroad.

The internships allow students to progress in various and specialized scientific fields and increase transversal skills (autonomy, schedule management, social and professional relationships).

An agreement is signed for each internship (voluntary or compulsory) between UGA and the host organization. This agreement guarantees the supervision of students by researchers or professionals who participate to the evaluation of the work.
